About me

I am a PhD Candidate in Landscape Architecture at the University of Edinburgh College of Art. I focus on human connection to landscape, particularly looking at the Cairngorms National Park and volunteer programs in conservation.

I have an MSc in Landscape and Wellbeing and International Development from the University of Edinburgh, a graduate certificate in Global Health from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Fordham University. Outside of the world of academia Iā€™m a Master Gardener, volunteer with the Lothians Conservation Volunteers, go on hikes, take photographs and sound recordings, and read as much as I can about as much as I can.

Aside from all that, by far my greatest achievement has been surviving Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and navigating the complex physical and psychological recovery that is a lifelong journey. This long road has led me to embodiment work rebuilding my childhood relationship with nature. I hope this website can be a space to reflect upon and share some of these learnings while connecting with others.
