How can we gain consent from the landscape?

Engaging with More-Than-Human participants requires a new exploration of consent

My PhD Research Project is on conservation volunteering in the Cairngorms National Park. In addition to exploring the human to landscape relationship, I seek to explore the land to human relationship. In this way I seek to answer how can I work with the landscape as much as an equal study participant as the human volunteers? I use Polaroid photography developed with and within the landscape, an embodied practice that requires time and giving up control.
